The CME Group’s farm futures markets closed weaker Monday. At the close, the May corn futures finished 3 1/4 cents lower at $3.61 per bushel, while December corn ended 3¢ lower at $3.83 1/2.May soybean futures finished 1/2 cents lower at at $10.06; the November soybean futures closed 1/2¢ lower at $10.06. May wheat futures ended 10¢ lower at $4.30¾. May soy meal futures closed $2.20 per short ton higher at $330.90. May soy oil futures closed 0.56¢ lower at 32.12¢.
The crude oil market is 56¢ per barrel lower, the dollar was higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials were 21 points lower.Private exporters reported to the U.S. Department of Agriculture export sales of 120,000 metric tons of soybeans for delivery to unknown destinations during the 2017/2018 marketing year.
